International Women’s Day Long Lunch

The Murray River Council community is invited to celebrate International Women’s Day at a ‘Long Lunch’ in Barham on Friday March 7.
Hosted in Riverside Park with catering by Koondrook’s Long Paddock Food Store, the event is a great opportunity to celebrate local women and hear some inspirational stories on rural life from special guest speaker and ‘First Time Farmer’ Kaitie Nash.
Council’s Acting CEO, Sarah Ryan said the event is a great opportunity to connect with other women in the local community.
“It will be a fun and relaxed event where attendees can enjoy great company, amazing food and be inspired by stories from our special guest, Kaitie.”
“It’s also a great opportunity for community members to come together, meet new people and mark the achievements of the remarkable women in our lives,” she said.
Tickets to the event are now available for $40 which includes lunch and non-alcoholic refreshments.
The event will be set up as tables in the park.
